The ocean absorbs a massive amount of heat and CO2 and marine environments are some of the most vulnerable to climate change. More than one billion sea creatures along the Vancouver coast were cooked to death during a record-breaking heat wave in the Pacific Northwest in July, in a maritime massacre that surprised even the experts. Is this a prelude of what’s to come? How else is the Pacific Ocean and the Pacific Coast impacted by climate change?
